Some things never change and since this looks to be the "best" place to say 'Happy New Year' , then

I'll do it here

Wishing everyone all the best, good gaming, health and everything else

Congratulations upon being elected our new president, you've really got your work cut out !

As I know you, you've always done a fantastic job - or 'jobs' and many would have been afraid of
such a workload.

For those of you who don't know the immense job this guy has and still is doing so far I'll list them below :

Head of Forum : Which involves everything forum related and includes the moderator section

Head of Personnel dept. : Which involves organising admins into a cohearant team, able to provide each and every admin member or forum moderator with help, encourage discussion and also to 'fine tune' members of the admin team to better understand the rules which 'we' work within both upon 'our' servers and upon 'our' forum.

President : Someone who has the ultimate control over the sections listed above

Klagemuren : One of the best sections and the 'raison d'ĂȘtre' of why Battle.no was such a fantastic place - for gamers/by gamers

We're looking for good things from you mate, I know you can sort it out !

I know that you have done much work 'H' to attempt to move everything forward and build, many people upon the public side of the forum and servers won't have an idea of how many hours and how much work you have put in, much of which is and has been hidden from battle.no as a whole

The most important part of being within a community is being a member of it and sharing the good stuff and bad within the community, looking at problems and searching for answers 'as a whole'

Once the above problem has been sorted out, it should be pretty easy to get back to working alonside one another

I certainly agree with cutting back on the number of servers running, I guess we're back to the good old days of building each server up one by one.

I know of no better servers than here, if anyone knows of any and can state why - I'd be interested in hearing their opinion.

my best,

New recruitment is always important as you say S'naps, the level of recruitment relies upon getting "good" applications for admin status, which are few and far between.

There have been some applications entered from younger members or at least people who aren't yet old enough to become admins which have been pretty refreshing and I'm sure that all of whom will be considered once they become of age.

For my part, I can bang on until I'm blue in the face about interaction upon the forum and I guess taking a cheap swipe at the leadergroup as a whole is a bit unfair, although movement upon interaction may only be instilled from them as a whole.

It isn't about a revolution and never has been, allowing things to be open to discussion between members of the admin section hasn't been easy - the bridge between the admin section and the players on the servers has probably been less so.

We certainly don't interact enough upon any level, admin members talk about their own stuff, members of the leadergroup theirs.

I've been as guilty as anyone within the colours for getting tied up with more "important" things and have spent too much time upon what I considered important - forgetting that battle.no is made up of its members and their input from what they see on the servers and forum everyday and what may be improved upon

Just checking whether you guys were listening to us here, okay it's a bit of a game and so I request your indulgence

Members who are in touch and are involved in the day to day activities of the forum and servers will have no trouble at all letting us know that they are indeed alive

Those members of the leadergroup reading this and who haven't replied are dead or zombies

Good luck Adam, try things - push things and expect replies and help

Since you're now the Head of Events, this should be the place where you spend 80 percent of your time.

If you'd like any help with the English side of things, I'm just a pm away wink.gif

Not one reply in four days - I won't say that I'm not surprised

I haven't the possibility to discuss this matter within the admin section, as I am no longer an admin/group leader/forum moderator and if I had done, I wouldn't have expected - through experience, a reply for weeks or months upon end.

-get your act together

or fk off and "care" about something else

Certainly not, Tommy did a good job - the previous people who held the position tried and were left with a lack of support for running new ideas, which has unfortunately become a sad trait within battle.no.

Whilst the leadergroup as a whole is full of people who are more than capable of getting not just the job done but doing it well, the lack of exchanges between the leadergroup and admins has sadly fallen to an almost inexistant level.

I curse the day that we handed out colours to the different groups within the forum and servers and take my part in the blame for having come up with the suggestion - which at the time I had thought would only be able to be viewed by admin members of battle.no

There is a fantastic crew within the leadergroup, whom have and continue to dedicate time to continue to ensure that "we" as a whole are able to provide the best playing environment for you and also us, who enjoy the game too

Unfortunately members of the leadergroup have, perhaps been cut off through no fault of their own and aren't able to act swiftly to action suggestions or to be able to enlighten others with the wealth of their accrued knowledge, without having to refer to the timely process of waiting days or even weeks for a reply.

I wouldn't see it as a promotion, anyone who knows what battle.no is about - especially upon the admin side will know that there is a long hard slog to keep the wheels moving, greased and oiled as they should do.

It's more like hard work than a promotion - My very best Buck, keep the wheels rolling !

Absolutely not,

It doesn't work like that, push forward any idea you are interested, you can and should lobby anyone available on the admin side to help push your understanding of improvements further

If you can see room for improvements, so much the better for us all

Report unfair gameplay or an unfair ban is the link to the Klagemuren section below it is written

If you have been banned or need to report unfair gameplay click here to be redirected to the correct form.

As far as changing the name of the section is concerned, there isn't really much need because of this. Changes were made to the whole forum layout sometime ago when Viddi ( and friends hug.gif ) set about making this place as inviting and open as we possibly could at the time to all users.

Whilst the forum may have a large Scandinavian userbase, it certainly can not be defined as purely Scandinavian orientated any more than the make-up of "our" servers are.

I can't see the Klagemuren title being changed or much need for it to be changed, but it's nice to see people bringing up idea's like this in an attempt to further strengthen our community thumbsup.gif
